In a shocking incident, a first year undergraduate student in Bulandshahr was allegedly gang-raped in a moving car and later thrown out of the vehicle in Aurangabad area of the district.
She was found in a serious condition and admitted to hospital.
The local police registered a case but denied that the victim was raped. They also took one of the accused into custody.
As per reports, the victim hailing from Jahangirabad Kotwali area of Bulandshahr district is a student of BA first year in a local degree college. According to the victim’s mother, the girl had left home for college two days back, when a youth lured her and took her to Bulandshahr on a motorcycle. She said the youth stopped the motorcycle in front of a car occupied by his three friends and they pulled her daughter inside the car and started moving. She alleged that that her daughter shouted for help but all the accused raped her one by one in the moving car and later when she turned unconscious, they threw her out of the car in the Aurangabad Kotwali area and escaped.
The accused also made a video of the act and threatened to make it viral if the girl reported the incident to the police.
The victim was shifted to the hospital, where, on regaining consciousness, she narrated her ordeal to her family members.
Meanwhile, senior officials denied rape charges and claimed that they arrested one of the culprits and were trying to extract details from him so that the remaining culprits could be also brought to book.
The victim was also sent for medical examination to confirm of rape.
Meanwhile, in Harraiya locality of Basti, a 15-year-old minor girl, who was going to give food to her father at the shop in a village, was raped. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon but the Harraiya police registered a case on Sunday.
The victim’s father has filed a complaint against the accused, a resident of the same area. The superintendent of police also inspected the spot and enquired about the incident from the people of the village. Police also conducted raids to nab the accused but he was found absconding.
In his complaint the girl’s father stated that he works as a barber in Gumti on the other side of the village. His 15-year-old daughter comes to deliver food to him in the shop everyday during the afternoon. When she was coming to give food at around four o’clock on Saturday, the accused intercepted her and after gagging her, he pulled her inside a vacant house where he raped her.
He said that when his daughter did not reach the shop, he and other family members went to look for her and after finding her bicycle lying outside a house, they suspected foul play and knocked on the door during which the accused jumped out and escaped. Later they rescued the girl who confirmed her trauma.
A case was registered and further investigations are on.
