Azam made indirect attack on Singh

Taking a jibe at his bête noire Amar Singh in the Samajwadi Party, the minority affairs minister Azam Khan has said he was confident that the Rajya Sabha MP will honour his commitment by tendering his resignation from the membership of the Rajya Sabha.

Without naming amar Singh, the Rajya Sabha MP, Azam Khan said `` some people are a burden on society and are self made messiah’.

The SP leader Amar Singh apparently sore over being marginalised in the party had threatened to resign from the membership of the upper house of the parliament as neither the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has the time to meet him not his calls are answered by him.

"Amar Singh Baat ke pakke hai, jo kahte hai vo kar denge (Amar Singh is a committed person and true to his words whatever he has said he will do that and I am sure he will soon tender his resignation from the membership of the Rajya Sabha) said Azam Khan in Rampur.

In an obvious dig at the former cine star and former Rampur MP Jayaprada, the minister also a native of Rampur said `` if somebody is unhappy with the party as the chief minister has no time to speak that leader then he is free to leave the party and he should watch the dance of Amarpali and have a good time for himself why he is giving trouble to himself in politics’’.

"Such people who have been rejected by the people put the blame on the chief minister for petty things. They never do introspection to realise their worth in the party and for the party. Such people keep on blaming other and create hindrance. They will neither do anything and not let others do their job’’, said Azam Khan.
