Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Urban Development Azam Khan, invited fresh controversy when his staff members refused to work under him any more citing unparliamentary language used by the Cabinet minister.
Earlier also Khan remained in controversy for using objectionable words on a bureaucrat during meeting on development work besides he also came at logger heads with Prinipal Secretary Medial and Health Praveer Kumar after he reportedly abused the officer for not dancing to his diktats. In fresh controversy, almost all his personal secretaries and additional personal secretaries is a letter written to Azam Khan (copy of which has been also faxed to chief secretary, principal secretary to chief minister, secretary secretariat administration etc), claimed that they will not work any more under him and requested him to get them shifted to other place.
His staff claimed that they tried to work with full honesty and devotion but they were finding that they don’t live up to his (azam) expectation hence they were subjected to be abused and treated in inhuman manner. The employees said that under such circumstances they do not want to continue work under him and had asked to immediate relieve them to secretariat administration for further posting. It may be mentioned here that Azam Khan could not be contacted as he was in Azamgarh to attend Samajwadi Party’s rally on Tuesday.
