Showing annoyance over the working of lucknow’s Municipal Commissioner R.K. Singh, the Urban Development Minister Md Azam Khan asked Principal Secretary Urban Development C.B Paliwal to carry out inspection of roads of state capital and submit a report to him at the earliest.
It is second time in one week’s time when Md Azam Khan has reprimanded lucknow’s Municipal Commissioner for his non-performance.The minister was shocked to see the appalling scenario between Hazratganj and KGMU. The drain lines were clogged with sewage and venders have encroached the sidewalks. "This scenario is so shocking. What the Nagar Nigam officials are doing," he asked the officials accompanying him.
Without naming Nagar Ayukt the minister said that officials who are not alive to people’s problems have no right to continue in the post. He asked the Principal Secretary t carry out a probe and submit the report to him at the earliest.
