Former Governor and senior Congress leader Aziz Qureshi demanded that Indian Armed Forces should take over administration of the Covid 19 crisis across the country, in view of the utter failure and miserable performance of the Modi government which he felt had converted the country into a genocide club from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
“The troika (Modi ji, Amit Shah ji & Yogi Adityanath ji) has utterly and miserably failed India and destroyed the poor and innocent Indians completely. They have no moral, constitutional and religious authority to rule the country anymore. The troika shall have to stand before the Bar of Humanity, where History and Posterity would be the sole judges to condemn them for their incompetent, incapable, inefficient, insensitive and inhuman administration, which resulted in the genocide and wholesale massacre of the people, where ‘We the People’ had to struggle to snatch some breathes to continue their existence, with no injections, medicines, oxygen, ventilator, hospital beds etc were available to them and were being sold in black market, under the benign patronage of the local administration,” Qureshi said in a statement issued in Lucknow on Saturday.
The former Governor further said that even private ambulances were charging 500 times more and that was being shown on TV channels. Alleging that the Centre had mortgaged the country to a few big corporate houses and now it was a high time that needed a major surgical strike, like Pulwama, against Covid 19.
“I demand that in view of the total and utter failure of the Modi-Shah government, the entire Covid 19 crisis management, treatment, hospitals, beds, oxygen, ventilators and medicines etc should immediately be handed over to Indian Armed Forces, under the stewardship of Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh. It is possible that after doing so the smoke and ashes of funeral pyres, unheard cries of dying patients and their kin and strict control on black marketing of oxygen and medicines etc would be reduced to great extent,” the Congress leader said.
Qureshi went on to add, “Let Modiji and his associates function to improve the administration of remaining Ministries of the Government for the benefit and advantage of those big corporate houses, to transfer important assets of the country.”
