The Uttar Pradesh Government has sanctioned under the Post-matric Scholarship Scheme an amount of over Rs. 130 crore in the current financial year for the students belonging to other backward classes and studying in post-matric classes.
According to the order issued in this regard by the Backward Class Welfare Department, the sanctioned amount has been kept at the disposal of the Director, Backward Class Welfare Department.
