Amit Shah says demonetisation has upset SP,BSP and Congress

Taking a jibe at the Samajwadi Party, BSP and Congress for their opposition to demonetisation, BJP president Amit Shah said that the decision seems to have upset the apple cart of these parties and ‘their reaction is saying it all’.

“The decision to cull high value notes was taken to curb corruption and circulation of black money in the economy. The reactions of Mamata Banerjee, Mayawati and Rahul Gandhi are self-explanatory. This shows that the decision has hit them the hardest,” Shah said while addressing a Parivartan Rally in Etah on Friday.

The BJP chief said that Mayawati is only talking about demonetisation as her stashed away cash has been reduced into trash by just one decision. This is no longer a secret that BSP tickets come with a price tag and just one decision demolished her dream.

“Similarly a leader who made a fortune through chit fund money looks very disturbed, and then we have Rahul Baba whose demeanour does not behove of a senior leader,” he commented.

Shah asked party cadres to go out in the villages and tell them about the virtues of demonetisation. “Tell them that the penalty the government earns frm those having black money will be used in the development of villages,” he said.

“Time has come to launch a decisive war against the corrupt rule of the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party. A decade-and-a-half has been wasted and the need of the hour is to install a Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state,” Shah said.

“People still remember the regime of Kalyan Singh when criminals were either sent to jail or were forced to leave the state. The BJP will build the UP of Kalyan Singh’s dream,” he said.

launching a frontal attack on Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle Shivpal Yadav, the senior BJP leader said both ‘chacha’ and ‘bhateeja’ have surpassed all limits in securing commission in the name of development of UP. ” The BJP promises to give a corruption-free government and a rule of law in the state,” he claimed.

Shah said that youths have been migrating from the state for want of employment as corruption in recruitment has become the order of the day.

” Why can’t UP government do away with interview part in recruitment like the Centre did,” he asked thereby suggesting there is always scope of bungling in the interview.
