Additional CEO Ramakant Pandey, said here on Friday that all arrangements for smooth conduct of the by-polls have been completed. Counting of votes for the by-polls would be held on April 15. Around 3.31 lakh voters including 1.81 lakh males and 1.53 lakh females are eligible to vote in their by-polls at 379 polling booths in the assembly segment. Earlier Election Commission had announced by-polls in Charkhari and Pharenda assembly segments but Supreme court had stayed the polling process of Pharenda. However, on Thurday, the SC had cleared the way for the by-polls in Pharenda. By-polls to Rasra assembly seat had also been stayed by the SC.
