Akhilesh Yadav slams CM

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for questioning the legitimacy of the previous SP regime’s efforts to develop Sefai village into a town. Sefai in Etawah, is the native place of the Samajwadi Party’s first family.

“Earlier Prime Minister Narendra Modi was obsessed with Sefai’s development and now Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has questioned my government for developing Sefai village. I wonder why they are so envious of the village. Now that BJP is in power both at the Center and the state, no one can prevent them from developing every village of the state to that level. The BJP should perform and deliver to the people rather than questioning Sefai’s development,” said Akhilesh.

The SP chief said, “Centrally-sponsored schemes for developing cities as Smart Cities is underway across the nation. I can say with confidence that there is no village smarter than Sefai in the country.”

On the law and order situation in the state, Akhilesh Yadav said, “The common people can feel the difference as there has been a sharp rise in incidents of heinous crimes across the state. law and order situation has definitely deteriorated.”

“Jewellers and traders have become soft targets for criminals and they were being attacked at will. Even before the loot and murder of jewellers at Mathura could be worked out, heinous crimes took place in Mainpuri, Orai, Allahabad and Greater Noid,” said the former Chief Minister.

Training his gun at the BJP for failing to honour promises made to farmers, Akhilesh Yadav said, “The UP government ditched potato farmers as it had promised to procure 50,000 MT of potatoes from farmers to stabilize the price in open market. But  the procurement has been almost nil.”

The SP chief said that Samajwadi Party was devoting its time and energy on poll booth management for 2019 lok Sabha elections. “The 2019 lok Sabha elections is a big challenge for the SP. That party which can manage booths well, will win the next lok Sabha poll,” opined Akhilesh.

“My government completed Agra-lucknow Expressway in 23 months. I challenge the Yogi Adityanath to get lucknow-Ballia highway completed in next 22 months,” dared Akhilesh.
