Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, while campaigning for the Ghosi by-election, asserted that the Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav’s arrogance would bite the dust in Ghosi and the people would teach them a stern lesson.
“In the 2022 legislative assembly election, the people of Uttar Pradesh had decisively rejected the SP, and history is likely to repeat itself in the upcoming Ghosi by-election,” Maurya said.
Speaking at the Vishwakarma Samaj Sammelan organised at the Bharatiya Janata Party office in Ghosi, Keshav Prasad Maurya emphasised that during the elections, the citizens of Uttar Pradesh had witnessed the threats and thuggery associated with the SP.
“However, a new era of positive change is underway and the benefits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s initiatives are reaching the common people directly,” he said.
Maurya said that the government had implemented numerous schemes for the welfare of youth, women, the elderly and students. He added that the Central government was committed to eradicating corruption and its supporters, ensuring transparency and accountability.
The deputy chief minister also remarked on the opposition’s coalition, stating that it appears to be devoid of any substantial issues. He characterised it as a coalition formed by corrupt individuals solely for their self-preservation.
Maurya urged the voters of Ghosi to teach the arrogant leaders like Akhilesh Yadav and his party a lesson. He praised the BJP workers for adhering to the principles and ideals of great leaders like Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
“The party is committed to social harmony and the welfare of the majority. Concentrate on your strength on winning this constituency,” he said.
Maurya also cautioned against the potential pitfalls of the SP, which he characterised as a party formed from the amalgamation of seven sins. He emphasised the need to remain vigilant against such influences.
Keshav Prasad Maurya predicted that the Ghosi Vidhan Sabha by-election would set a new direction and send a clear message in Indian politics. He pledged the BJP’s commitment to the welfare of the people and the principles of social justice and unity.
