Senior BJP leader and Union MSME minister Kalraj Mishra said that keeping assembly elections in mind Akhilesh Yadav Government was engineering communal tension in the state so as to divide communities on religious lines.
“I am saying it with full responsibility that UP is witnessing a state sponsored communal violence just to appease a particular community," he said as Chief Guest in the state working committee meeting of Bharatiya Janata here on Saturday.
Addressing the inaugural session Mishra said that suicide of farmers in Bundelkhand, turn of events in Dadri case and exodus of people from Kairana proves how the Akhikesh Yadav government is working to appease a particular community.
He said that criminals are ruling roost in the state and even the state ministers are openly coming out in support of the criminals.
“People are now looking towards BJP because they feel it is the only alternative. BJP is the only party that does not differentiate people on the basis on vaste, religion and creed. Everyone is equal for us,”he said
Union home minister Rajnath Singh would the chief guest in the concluding session on Sunday evening.
