Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait on Thursday reiterated that the agitation against the agricultural laws will continue till they are withdrawn.
He said in Saharanpur that even if a complete lockdown was imposed due to the second wave of novel coronavirus infection, the farmers would continue to stage sit-ins and protest at the Delhi border.
Rakesh Tikait, who came here to attend the wedding of the daughter of Kiranjeet Singh, the nephew of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, said that the movement had now spread across villages.
Referring to the resignation of Bharatiya Janata Party leader Priyamvada Tomar from the party in support of farmers' agitation, Tikait said that now people were understanding that the new farm laws were against the farmers.
