Taking lesson from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘success mantra’ of youth connect, Actor turned Politician Chiraag Paswaan talks about employment and development of Uttar Pradesh.
In his first political visit to the state, young lJP leader tired to connect with youths in his address at lJP workers meet held in state capital. He talked about youth power, employment, education and development. In fact, Chiraag’s Father Ram Vilas Paswan and other senior leaders were projected him as future leader of the party and made him In-charge for strengthening party in state. They even praised the reasons for which he came into politics.
“At present there is 60 percent youth population in the country. The youths have caliber and enthusiasm to do something for the nation while the elderly have experience to show us the right path. I learn things from my father and other senior leaders,” said Chirag in his address.
Sharing his story to motivate the youths to connect with party, he  said when I was working in Mumbai I had all the facilities for leading a good lifestyle but  the disrespect of people from UP and Bihar brought me into politics. I came back to regain the respect for them. “It was youths who gathered and voted for Prime Minister Narendra Modi which resulted as historic victory. It was all for change. Now we should support ‘Modi ji’ for developing the nation,” he added. Senior lJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan even shared that moment when Chiraag announced to join politics and won Jamui seat. “Chiraag is the best Neta-Putr (leader’s son). I am not saying this because his is my son but because he had proven it by winning Jamui seat. Chiraag expressed his wish to contest election from that seat which is 75 percent Naxal dominant area. I feared but with his caliber and enthusiasm he won with a margin of one lakh votes,” said Paswan.
