Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said action would be taken against those found guilty of hacking UPPCl online billing system depriving state of precious revenue. While coming out of the review meeting of power sector Yadav said here on Thursday that UP police’s STF is probing the matter. “Those found guilty action would be taken against them,” he told reporters.
“Our government works in a transparent manner. It will not tolerate any corruption. It is crime of reducing consumers’ bills and depriving state of revenue,” Chief Minister said. He was replying to a question of involvement of government staff in hacking UPPCl online billing system. Whosoever is found guilty action would be taken against him, Yadav said.
