The Aam Aadmi Party will take out a grand ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Lucknow on August 14. Former state president of AAP Sabhajeet Singh said the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ would be led by senior leader and MP Sanjay Singh from the party office in Gomti Nagar (Patrakarpuram) and would conclude at Samta Mulak crossing.
Sabhajeet Singh said the decision was taken in a meeting of the office-bearers. “We will script history in Lucknow by taking out the grand ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in which all the functionaries of AAP will take part along with party workers from different parts of Uttar Pradesh. We will make the entire Lucknow ‘Tirangamay’,” he said. The AAP leader said preparations were underway and the workers and leaders had been given responsibilities. He also appealed to people to take part in the ‘Tiranga Yatra’.
