Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP and incharge of UP affairs Sanjay Singh hit out at the BJP government in UP saying that the Allahabad High Court had exposed the malmanagemnet of the government on tackling corona crisis and the subsequent inspection of a Integrated Control and Command Centre in Moradabad by the chief minister was nothing but an attention-seeking exercise. He alleged that the CM and his ministers were busy advertising government work to cover up their failure.
“People have failed in getting any help from Covid command centres. The government was claiming that hospital beds were available despite there being no beds vacant for admission of new patients. The high court has exposed the government’s blatant lie by examining the live demo of availability of beds. Beds are available at the DRDO hospital which was recently inaugurated, but the beds are reserved for VVIPs,” he alleged.
Singh further said that even as numerous videos have been doing the rounds, showing innocents beseeching before officials while asking for beds, oxygen cylinders and ventilators, the government has busied itself in show business by visiting Covid command centres. “This is a time when the government should work hard to stop black-marketing of oxygen cylinders And life-saving medicines,” he said.
The AAP leader accused the chief minister of taking weird and impractical decisions which led to the unprecedented spread of coronavirus in the villages too, which has now started targeting elected representatives and villagers alike.
