A minor boy was kidnapped and murdered in Muzaffarnagar just after one of the accused suspected that victim’s mother got his mother killed with the help of some evil spirit. The above sensational fact came to light only after the local police arrested both the accused on Tuesday morning.
Reports said that 16-year-old Raja, a native of Khatauli area of Muzaffarnagar went missing under mysterious circumstances after he went out in connection with work on last Friday afternoon. His father Bhopal Singh, who launched a hunt for his son suspected involvement of Rahul and Ankush, both residents of the same area as during search he learnt that duo were seen with Raja on the fateful afternoon. Bhopal Singh also lodged a report against both the accused with the local police station alleging that they kidnapped his son and might kill him.
Reports further said that even after the case was registered the cops did not took cognizance of the matter and it was only on Tuesday morning when the local residents staged a strong protest against police inaction, the cops rounded both the above accused. Sources said that after being grilled by the cops, both the accused broke down and confessed of killing the victim on the same day. They also revealed that the body of the victim was buried by them in bushes near a pond behind Kisan Kanya Inter College to conceal the crime. The cops later went and exhumed the body and dispatched it for post-mortem examination. According to reports, during interrogation, Rahul disclosed that he got Raja killed as he suspected that his (Raja) mother had send some evil spirit with the help of a Tantrik over his mother following which she first fell ill and later died. To avenge his mother’s death, he and his friend decided to eliminate Raja to teach his mother a lesson. Both Rahul and Ankush were sent for post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile dreaded dacoit belonging to Balkhadiya gang struck in Chitrakot and killed one of their rival and critically injured his son in the wee hours of Tuesday. Reports said that Hari Shankar Patel aka Kallu, Ramesh aka Kalli and Vinod, all residents of lalpur hamlet of Nayagaon in Satna (Madhya Pradesh) had visited the house of dacoit Munni lal Patel to attend the marriage of his daughter on Monday night. After having dinner all the three went to the terrace to sleep. However, in the wee hours of Tuesday, over half a dozen armed members of Balkhadiya gang struck and opened fire and gunned down Hari Shankar Patel and critically wounded his son Ramesh aka Kallu. later before the relatives wake up and took position all the accused escaped. Injured Kallu was admitted in hospital. A case was registered in this regard by the police and efforts were on to nab the accused.
