In yet another case of crime against women in Badaun, a 32-year-old woman was allegedly held captive and gang-raped by three persons, including the son of a policeman, in the Bisauli area on Friday.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police lR Kumar, the victim was held captive when she had gone out to purchase medicines on Friday night. She then along with her two children was taken to an under-construction house by one Himanshu.
The victim alleged that Himanshu, who is son of a policeman, locked her up with the children in the house and left only to return later with two aides and later gang-raped her in presence of her children. On Saturday, the woman narrated her ordeal to local residents after being released by the accused and later went to the police to lodge a complaint.On the basis of the victim’s statement, a case has been lodged against Himanshu, Khalifa alias Pramod and an unidentified person.
