The Government has promoted 8 engineers (civil cadre) of Irrigation and Water Resource Department with immediate effect. Among these promotees, executive engineers Amitabh Kumar, Ramesh Prasad, Surendra Nath Pandey and Triyamk Padey have been promoted to the post of superintending engineer, while superintending engineers Waris Rafi, Vikas Chandra Arya, Sandeep Kumar and Gopal Singh have been promoted to the post of chief engineer (level-2).
