Taking Mission Rozgar further ahead, the Yogi Adityanath government has decided to fill over 5,800 posts of jail warders, mounted police in the Prison department and firemen in Fire department, which have been lying vacant for a long period of time.
The process of selection has been completed in a fair and transparent manner and appointment letters to the newly recruited staff -- 626 females and 3,012 male jail warders, 102 mounted police, and 2,065 firemen will be handed over on Friday. “The Yogi government has also kept its promise of providing four lakh jobs in various government departments during the first four years, with an achievable target of a total of five lakh jobs by the end of the calendar year 2021,” a BJP spokesman said in Lucknow on Thursday.
