A total of 36 nominations have been filed so far for the first phase of assembly polls in 58 constituencies of western Uttar Pradesh.
The Election Commission of India said here on Monday said 34 nominations were filed on Monday whereas two nominations were filed earlier.
Three nominations each have been filed for Sahibabad, Chatta and Mathura assembly constituencies and two each for Noida, Dadra and Jewar seats.
January 21 is the last date for filing nominations for the first phase where polling is scheduled on February 10.
