In another major bureaucratic reshuffle, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav shifted 26 Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and 37 Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers on Tuesday. Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Devashish Panda has been relieved of the additional charge of Principal Secretary, land Development, which has now been handed over to Principal Secretary, Irrigation, Deepak Singhal.
Secretary, Tourism, Amrit Abhijat has been relieved from additional charge of Secretary, Culture. Secretary, Urban Development, Anita C Meshram has been transferred as Secretary, Culture.Mani Prasad Mishra and Vishal Ram Mishra, who were waiting for posting, have been made Special Secretary, Secondary Education, and Special Secretary, Food and Supplies, respectively.Mission Director, Talent Development, Abhay has been made Administrator, Sharda Sahayak Project, and he has been replaced by Ritu Maheshwari, who was on waiting list.
General Manager, Food and Essential Commodities Corporation, Bhavna Srivastava has been made Managing Director in the same department. Chandra Bhushan Singh and Akhand Pratap Singh, who were on waiting list have been made Special Secretary Irrigation, and Special Secretary in APC department, respectively.Sujit Kumar, who was also on waiting list, has been made Special Secretary in APC. Special Secretary, UP Reorganisation Coordination department, Sashi Bhushan lal Sushil has been given additional charge of Special Secretary, Food and Supplies, while Joint Director, Social Welfare, Alka Tandon has been made Special Secretary, labour. G Srivanaslu, who was member (Judical) Revenue Board, lucknow, has been made Special Secretary, Small and Medium Enterprises.
Special Secretary, Urban Development, Jitendra Bahadur Singh has been shifted in the same capacity in the Planning department while Housing Commissioner, MKS Sunderam, has been made Secretary, IDC. Divisional Commissioner, Azamgarh, Sahabuddin Mohammad will be the new Housing Commissioner while CDO Shyam Sunder Sharma will be the Special
Secretary, Food and Supplies. Joint Magistrate (JM), Gorakhpur, Amit Kishore will be the CDO of Ambedkarnagar, JM (Meerut) Manish Kumar Verma will be CDO of Pratapgarh and CDO, Chandauli, Naveneet Singh Chahal will be the CDO Meerut.
CDO (Barabanki) Shahid Manjar Abbas Rizvi will be Special Secretary in IDC department while JM Muzaffarnagar Rishendra Kumar will be CDO (Barabanki). JM (Barabanki) Shiv Sahay Awasthi will be CDO of Kushinagar and JM (Aligarh) Deepak Meena will be the CDO of Bulandshahr. UP Government also shifted 37 PCS officers by posting new officers in the ADM and City Magistrate posts.
