Rs 469.23 lakh sanctioned for Kumbh Mela 2019
The Uttar Pradesh Government has sanctioned Rs. 469.23 lakh as second installment for various construction works being done by the Mela Administration for the Kumbh Mela.
Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department Manoj Kumar Singh said Rs. 280 lakh was sanctioned as first installment in the financial year 2017-18 against the total cost of Rs. 530 lakh for various construction works of the Kumbh Mela.
Of the first installment Rs. 219.232 lakh could not be spent and the same was surrendered at the end of the financial year, Singh said.
World Disability Day:
The Government of India’s Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department has extended the last date of submitting the application forms to July 25 next for the National Awards given on the occasion of World Disability Day on December 3.
Director, UP’s Persons with Disabilities Department, Dr. Balkar Singh, gave this information here today.
He said that the persons interested in these awards can submit their application tothe Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Office in their respective districts.

Fund sanctioned under MSDP
The Uttar Pradesh Government has sanctioned Rs. 01.38 crore under the Multi Sectoral Development Plan (MSDP) for paying the honorarium/ remuneration to the Computer Operators/ Data Entry Operators working in IT Cell.
It is worth mentioning that Rs. 02.10 crore has been provisioned in the current financial year for this purpose. The sanctioned amount has been kept at the disposal of the Director, Minorities Welfare Department.
