The state government on Saturday shifted 11 senior IAS officers, the most notable being that of Rama Raman as Chairman of New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) against whom the Allahabad High Court had made adverse observations. Following High Court strictures, Raman was removed from the post but posted again to the top post on Saturday.

Special Secretary Infrastructure and IDC Rishikesh Bhaskar Yashoda has been made Staff Officer of Chief Secretary, Special Secretary Social Welfare Ishwari Prasad Pandey has been made Registrar Chit Funds while Special Secretary Commercial Taxes Atul Kumar Rai has been posted as Secretary of UP Public Service Commission.
