State government transferred 13 IPS officers besides making changes into two other transfer order issued earlier this week. ADG, Special Investigation Team (SIT), AKD Dwivedi has been shifted to UP Police Housing Corporation limited replacing Kamlendra Prasad, who has been now asked to join as Director General, Civil Defence.
Prasad recently hit the news paper head lines after his name figured in the suicide note of Sankalp Anand, who committed suicide along with his wife in Mathura. State government already recommended a probe by Central Bureau of Investigation into Sankalp’s suicide as his father, Santosh Anand, famous lyrists in Boolywood industry, demanded the same.
According to an official communiqué of Home Department, ADG, Civil Defence Mahendra Modi has been made ADG, SIT and IGs N Ravinder and Zaki Ahmad posted at Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, has been made IG, PAC, lucknow Head Quarter and IG Fire Services respectively. IG, Fire Services, Hari Ram Sharma, has been sent to Intelligence Department in the same capacity while DIG, Anti-Corruption, Rakesh Pradhan has been sent to Police Recruitment and Promotion Board as DIG.
Commandant, 2nd battalion PAC in Sitapur KS Emanuel and Commandant, 37th battalion PAC in Kanpur, Kirit Kumar H Rathore have swapped place after transfer while transfer order of Waji Ahmed, as SP, Food Cell, Ahmad has been sent cancelled and he will now remain as SP in Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Similarly transfer of SP Food Cell Anis Ahmad Ansari to Recruiment Board has been cancelled. He will now join as SP, State Crime Record Bureau.
SSP, Gorakhpur RK Bhardhwaj and SP, GRP Allahabad Dileep Kumar have swapped places after transfer while SP Unnao, Ratan Kumar Srivastava have been sent to Vigilance Department, lucknow in the same capacity replacing Mahendra Pal Singh, who has been made new SP, Unnao.
