In a simple ceremony, 12 judges were sworn-in additional judges of the Allahabad High Court here on Monday. The Chief Justice of High Court of Judicature at Allahabad Justice YS Chandrachud administered the oath of office to the newly-appointed judges.
The swearing in ceremony took place in the court room of the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court and was attended by the members of the bench and the bar and the officials of the High Court. The newly-appointed additional judges who were administered oath of office were Vivek Kumar Birla, Attau Rahaman Masoodi, Ashwani Kumar Mishra, Rajan Roy, Akhtar Hussain Khan, Ranjana Pandya, Vijay laxmi, Arvind Kumar Mishra (I), Anant Kumar, Harsh Kumar, Shashi Kant and Om Prakash (VII).
