In a shocking incident, a 10-year-old boy allegedly raped a three-year-old girl at a school in Muzaffarnagar district, a police official said on Sunday.
According to the police, the boy is a student of class 1 while the girl is a student of a playgroup. The boy has been detained by the police, while the girl has been sent for medical examination.
Citing the complaint filed by the girl's family members, police said the girl was taken to the roof of the school and allegedly raped by the boy on Saturday.
This is not the first time when such a horrific incident has occurred in the country. Earlier last year, a similar case was reported in neighbouring Madhya Pradesh's Indore district, where a 12-year-old boy raped a 3-year-old girl. The girl had gone to a grocery shop but was intercepted by the accused. He allegedly lured her with chocolates and took her to his house.
