Saying that ‘Modi hai to Mumkin hai’, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that the Swachhata Abhiyan which has cleaned the country has now reached Pakistan where India has taken up the cudgel to ‘clean’ terrorists from there.

“Amethi was a VVIP area but cooking gas never reached the poor households here. Now things have changed only because of Modiji. Over 78,000 households in Rae Bareli have also got free electricity because of PM Modi,” Yogi Adityanath said while addressing a huge gathering at Korwa town of Amethi on Sunday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries.

Giving the slogan of ‘Modi hai to Mumkin hai’, Yogi Adityanath said: “UP is now progressing in all spheres. We have Jan Dhan accounts for all the poor, farmers and other citizens. Various schemes of the PM are benefiting the entire state. It is a matter of pride for everyone.”

Referring to the terror attacks, Yogi said that the Prime Minister had declared that India would teach a lesson to terrorists and its saviours and he had proved it through his action,

“Terror attacks happened earlier too. But surgical strikes in Myanmar and after Uri have shown that this is a new India,” Yogi said.

“We are thankful to Prime Minister Modi for giving UP a defence industrial corridor. Now,  7.5 lakh rifles will be made available to our soldiers through this Korwa factory. The impossible has been made possible by PM Modi,” Yogi said.

While attacking Gandhi family, Yogi lauded Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani, saying: “One family which dominated all these areas earlier was never concerned about the poor. Smriti Iraniji has done much more legwork in Amethi than Rahul Gandhi.”

Yogi said 73,000 farmers in Amethi and 1.24 lakh farmers in Rae Bareli were benefited from Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Gorakhpur on February 24.

The Prime Minister dedicated to the nation and laid foundation stones of many scheme, including steel processing unit in Jagdishpur worth Rs 9,200 crore, upgradation of Amethi bus station and reconstruction of depot workshop at a cost of Rs 496.80 crore, construction of rest houses and shops at Amethi bus station at a cost of Rs 139 crore and construction of main building of primary health centre at a cost of Rs 167 crore.

Meanwhile, a poster war has started in Amethi and the adjoining Rae Bareli between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress workers.

In Amethi, Congress workers pasted posters saying ‘Go back Modi’ after they claimed that the officials and BJP cadre white-washed walls near the public meeting venue that carried slogans hailing local MP and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi as the future PM.

In Rae Bareli, the Lok Sabha constituency of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, hoardings saying ‘toot jayega danka, phuss ho jayegi Priyanka (the hype won’t last as Priyanka Gandhi bubble will burst)’ have come up.
