Hitting out at Rahul Gandhi, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that Congress was left with no issues and therefore it was spreading canard against the Narendra Modi government over the CBI issue.
“The Supreme Court has issued an order which is very clear. A constitutional body is carrying out a probe. Let it complete its enquiry and then only people should react,” he told reporters at the backdrop of the Northern Railway Multi-state Primary Co-operative Bank Limited centenary function here on Friday.
“As the issue was pending with the Supreme Court we should wait for the judgement before voicing our verdict,” Singh said while reacting to Congress protest against Modi government over alleged muzzling of CBI working.
Singh said the Congress had spread a canard without knowing the full facts.
“It (Congress) is spreading lies because it has no other issue against the government,” he said.
