This refers to the article, “Dreams that young India has” (February 25) by Kushan Mitra. We are not living in the best of times as far as economy and growth is concerned, but then India remains a country with immense potential. It is heartening to know that our youth will drive this potential, as we have a significant amount of young population at our disposal to take the country forward in the right direction.
In this backdrop, it is appropriate on Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's part to repeatedly emphasise on the role that the youth can play. He is right in observing that we cannot leave the youth to their fate; we need to provide them a platform to perform and make the country proud. As far as hope goes, howsoever the depressing times we may be in, we cannot lose hope. Hope turns an individual into a positive person in moments of stress.
