Sir — The Aam Aadmi Party Government’s decision to subsidies rates of electricity and water up to a certain level of consumption in Delhi is good in theory for the common man but bad for the development of the State’s economy.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should check the reasons for the high cost that companies level. He should contain the malpractices which could lead to savings. This will help lower the tariffs. Offering subsidy in times when revenues are dipping and the economy is wobbling is not the way ahead.
