Sir — It is distressing that one of the two Japanese hostages held by the Islamic State has been killed. This cold-blooded slaughter is an outrage committed on the peace-loving people of this world.
The Islamic State’s barbarism is on the rise and the world is a silent spectator. The violence is yet to be checked. World leaders as well as Muslim community leaders will have to play a more proactive role if lasting world peace is to become a reality. Also, the US is aiding Pakistan to curtail terror. But the funds are utilised by Pakistan to support terror. The US President must consider allocating those funds to India, instead.
