Sir — This refers to the article, “The new world order needs a new Islam” (August 26) by Sandhya Jain. The article may be lacking in logic but the writer more than makes up for it with her fertile imagination. She can beat even the Pakistanis (who are conspiracy champions) in concocting theories.
To top it all, finding ‘tolerance’ in that so-called holy book is nothing short of Gandhian perversity. Hindu readers will do well to take the writer’s articles not just with a pinch, but indeed an entire bagful, of salt.
