Sir — This refers to the article, “West’s jejune fantasies on Hinduism exposed” (March 19) by Sandhya Jain. It is heartening to see Hindus hit back intellectually at Western academia. India’s ‘eminent historians’ have also added their bit to Hindu denigration. That they are now being slowly evicted from their ivory towers is but small mercy, and it has come not a day too soon.
