Sir — This refers to the article, “Misleading ads, lost effulgence” (February 24) by KG Suresh.
The Government does not have the money to spend on genuine public welfare, but it has ample funds to splurge on meaningless advertisements that project its non-existent achievements. Parliament should pass a law against such spending which drains the public exchequer.
