Voters will not be fooled by Congress propaganda

Published on:

This refers to the article, “The Congress does not merit another chance” (April 15) by A Surya Prakash. The Congress's manifesto and its actions are poles apart. It is election time and the party is promising the moon to the voters, but it has been exposed in the past few years of its misrule. We know how the oldest party revolves around the Nehru-Gandhi family.

The Congress has abused investigation agencies and other independent institutions in the 10 years it has been in power. On the other hand, neither could it stop the slide on the economic front nor could it contain farmers' suicides.

For the party, secularism means wooing the Muslim community by hook or crook, and forgetting it after the elections. Anything else is communalism for Congress leaders. The voters have become intelligent. They know who is the best candidate for prime ministership, and which is the most suitable party to govern the country.
