The Congress has, as you have pointed out, in its dying phase shed its obsession with trying to probe an alleged act of surveillance by the Gujarat Government on a woman, even when there is no complaint by the supposed victim or her family members. That it has retracted is a good decision, and one hopes it sets the tone for the end of vendetta politics.
