Sir — This refers to reports that the Islamic State had burnt to death over 40 people. Before more such unfortunate barbaric incidents take place, the world must unite in uprooting the terrorist organisation which has spread its dangerous tentacles in many parts of West Asia. If it is not stopped now, there shall be a world-war-like situation. The Islamic State must be hammered with a full-fledged war the global community must inflict on it. The sad reality is that countries affected by terrorism have yet to devise a common strategy to combat the growing menace that is claiming thousands of innocent lives.
