Sir — Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while delivering the Motion of Thanks on the President’s address elaborated on the achievements of his Government, besides lashing out at the Congress. But it is quite unparliamentary to note that the members of Opposition indulged in shouting, sloganeering and, thus, disrupted his speech.
It is unfortunate that our elected representatives behave in such a manner. Not only is this an attempt to shame the Prime Minister but it is a shame on democracy and our entire parliamentary system. These people need vigorous counselling, coupled with training to refrain from such acts.
