Sir — Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has blamed the media for being paid and biased. There can be a section of the media which is so, but large sections of the Press have done a great job in exposing the wrongdoing in high public places and promoting genuine achievers.
It is a fact that politicians and celebrities want to be in the news constantly because such publicity provides them the oxygen in their careers. Mr Kejriwal’s present position in politics is largely because the media contributed to his rise by giving him massive publicity since the anti-corruption movement days. Now that the shoe has begun to pinch, he has taken to castigating the media.
