Sir — United Nations Human Rights Commission’s report on human rights violations in Kashmir and POK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) is in some ways indicative of the failure of India’s foreign policy. The report seems to be directly linked to the efforts that Pakistan has made in the past in the form of written communication to the United Nations to put India in a tight corner.
Unless India articulates its position on Kashmir and paints a clear and explicit picture to the United Nations that Pakistan is in illegitimate occupation of Kashmir, India’s position may not appear convincing.
