This refers to the article, “Improving India's image abroad” (June 13) by A Prabaharan. I agree with the writer's view that one can either love Prime Minister Narendra Modi or hate him, but none can ignore him. In a few days we will come to know whether India will become a part of the Nuclear Supplier's Group and the Missile Technology Control Regime or not. And if it does, we must thank Modi for reaching out to not only the US, but also to other nations. Modi not only put the case of India’s membership, but also ensured that bilateral relations are established during the process of his one-to-one-meet with the respective heads of these nations.
It will not be an exaggeration to state that the world is now looking at India. All thanks to the dynamic leadership of Modi. Without an iota of doubt, Modi is the first Prime Minister from India who has been serious in his intent to get India its due from the world. All his critics need to see his efforts with no bias what so ever.
