The Bharatiya Janata Party’s endeavour to establish that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s certificates are authentic is apparently dogmatic. The general allegation that Delhi University apparently works hand-in-glove with the Prime Minister’s Office, to shroud the facts, is indeed disgraceful to our democracy, besides a brazen violation to the provisions of Right to Information Act.
Political leaders, especially those in the top echelons, are bound to maintain utmost transparency and honesty in their dealings. Compromising with such essential principles will exacerbate the dubiety about the credence of the degrees.
