This refers to the article, “India deserves better education” (May 3) by Kushan Mitra. A good teacher one who can fill the classroom with laughter and learning and involve the students in various activities is the key to transforming school education and making it more meaningful.
Educational institutes must conduct workshops, prepare manuals and organise pilot projects in selected schools to refine the methods of teaching, and then finally introduce them in the schools.
