This refers to the editorial, “This letter stinks” (July 26). The MPs who had signed and sent the letter to US President Barack Obama have not just exposed their petty mentality, but in the bargain have also compromised the dignity of the nation. They should realise that their seditious letter, against a democratically elected and popular leader of an Indian State, will be consigned to the dustbin. That these MPs should resort to such desperate and dubious methods to demean the Gujarat Chief Minister only proves that they are rattled by the increasing popularity of Mr Modi and will employ every dirty trick in their armoury to malign him
What will they do if the US offers a visa to Mr Modi, given that many in the US establishment are impressed with his Gujarat development modelIJ Will these anti-Modi snipers take political sanyas or quit India if Mr Modi becomes the Prime MinisterIJ The electorate should think twice before voting in such arrogant and unethical leaders.
