They will neither learn from nor admit errors

This refers to the editorial, “Jaundiced viewpoint” (January 24). The agenda of the Congress is clear. Its leaders do not need to learn from anyone. These leaders want to keep the masses of the country bereft of adequate education, backward, de-industrialised, and lacking in infrastructure. This India suits them better as it can remain the Congress’s first family's fiefdom, which can then be treated as a guinea pig for their rotten ideas of socialism and communism.

A developed India could ask them awkward questions, such as: Why did the Congress fail to raise the Tibet issue in the UN when at the same time it dragged Jammu & Kashmir thereIJ Why did the party's regime fail to use the Air Force in the 1962 war with ChinaIJ Why has India lagged behind countries which were at parity with us or even behind us in many ways in the beginning — like China, Malaysia and South KoreaIJ The Congress wants to duck these questions.
