At last, there is relief for the residents of Campa Cola colony in Mumbai. But it has come following the intervention of the Supreme Court. It seems the courts are running this country as Governments have failed to do their job. However, it is not possible for a citizen to approach the court on every issue. If citizens still have to do so, because Governments and regulators have failed to perform, justice to many other victims of serious crimes will get delayed.
There are still builders along the Yamuna Expressway in Noida who are not fair and transparent. The Government must take steps to check them before it's too late. In Delhi, unauthorised colonies are being regularised, but in Mumbai, the Campa Cola building was about to be razed.
