Sir — “Rape ke liye phansi par chada diya jayagaIJ ladke ladke hain. Galti ho jaati hai”, is a highly absurd and abusive remark that Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav has made. I am at a loss to understand how a leader of national stature could come out with such an irresponsible comment against women, and that too at a time when crimes against women are on the increase.Mr Yadav has since claimed that his party has done a lot for women. This is rubbing salt into the wounds.
