Take control

Sir — This refers to the article, “From Varanasi, Modi will rejuvenate India” (May 6) by Sandhya Jain. We look forward to Varanasi regaining its glory and India claiming its rightful place in the world. There is only one request to Modiji: Do not ever become part of the establishment like Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Never ever shy away from responsibility like how Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel declined prime ministership just to please the Mahatma. The destiny of 1.2 billion people is in your hands.
