Sir — That despite the revolt of four senior-most judges of the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Dipak Misra was allocating very important cases to ‘preferred’ Benches, particularly the one constituted to enquire into the PIls for probe into Judge loya’s death, is disturbing.
While it was expected that the Chief Justice would prefer to be away from the said Bench in all fairness, one really wonders why he has chosen to head the Bench assigned to hear this sensitive case.
However, having great faith in his integrity, one expects that the Bench would deliver a fair and right verdict.
